Dream Guardian

I imagine that Beetlekit, every night before he went to sleep, would think of his Mum. He loves the queens in the nursery of course, but he holds on to the idea that he too had his very own Mum that he wouldn't have to share with 22 a ton of other kits. Beetlekit doesn't remember much about her aside from her scent and voice, but he imagines her as a combination of Duck-kit, Spiderkit and himself. She'd have Duck-kit's white markings, Spiderkit's stripes and his fur. Every now and again, when he falls asleep, he dreams of her watching over him and protecting him from the monsters in the night. 

I might write a short story or something about this someday. xD
